New Year's Eve in Gatto Grasso...

It's New Year's Eve and unlike my usual routine of attending the NYE church service, I spent my time in Gatto Grasso (opposite of Hilton Kuching) with my sister. I'm still here btw...which reminds me, I also celebrated NYE in National Service last year. Not a good memory to think back because the food was so awful!!







Anyway, we went here because my sis wanted to try the pizza here. So here we are, listening to remixed retro songs and all...







And this was also the first time I tried drinking cocktails!! Margarita and Long Island. And honestly, they both taste almost the same. Alcohol....







Oh! Another funny thing! I was kinda bored just now and I decided to make a paper crane...ok, maybe it's was actually a tissue crane. LOL! And apparently the chef got hold of it and 'returned' it to me with a compliment dish! LOL!!!!

And they also gave us a bag of freebies coz I guess we looked like we're staying for the countdown.

Apologies again for the lack of pictures but this is all I can take. I don't own a camera phone and my sister's digital camera is not feeling so well so yeah...

In a few hours, 2008 will end. Many things happened this year.

Like National Service.

Starting up a blog.

Getting my SPM result and entering college life.

The ups and downs in my spiritual life.

Doing the 'Cuti-cuti Malaysia' by going to KK and Melaka.

Went on-board MV Doulos after 7 years.

Danced and sang in tHe Spring.

Joined caroling.

And the list goes on.....

There's so many things I thanked God for but most importantly, I thank Him for being with me the whole year, through my ups and downs. Thank you Lord and as I enter a new year, guide me and open my eyes and hearts to new things.

Uber busy week...

I think I now know why God wanted me to go to Youth camp. It was for relaxation...well kinda...coz right after camp, I seem to have practice on EVERY night in church!! Well, except for Friday night but who knows...maybe something will suddenly pop up and my Friday night will be busy...

Why so busy??

It's all practice for the performance in Spring this Saturday. Monday evening was my tambourine practice, Tuesday and Thursday caroling practice and Wednesday, a last minute combine Youth-BB practice...sigh....

Thanks to caroling, I have to sacrifice the practice in St. Thomas this Thursday for the Festival of Praise next year...sigh...oh well...hopefully there are other practices around....
